Brilliant Beatitudes

In RE, we have been exploring Christianity. We have looked at the ten commandments and ranked them from what we thought was the most important to least important.

We then went on to learning about the ‘Sermon on the Mount’. We explored the story and looked at the eight beatitudes, learning how these impact how Christians live their lives. We then created our own interpretations of these in our books.

We were lucky enough to have a video call from someone who works for ‘Feeding Families’ and they explained how the charity helps others. The children were then able to relate this the eight beatitudes and the ten commandments.

Article 30 – We all have the right to use our own language, culture and religion.
