The summer holidays were a brilliant opportunity to read some new books and to just be able to sit back and read for pleasure. There have been some brilliant books released recently, from new authors and from some old favourites. The two recommendations this week are from familiar authors – Julia Donaldson and Cressida Cowell – whose books we have all seen and loved.
The Baddies (Age 3+) – The Baddies are the meanest, nastiest ghost, witch and troll in the land. They just adore being bad, and fight over who is the worst. A great, rhyming book as all of the baddies try to scare a new girl in town.
Which Way to Anywhere (Age 7+) – An out of this world adventure, with a kidnapping, strange gifts and a petrifying, robot assassin. A great read!
