The Rotten Romans

This half term, Year Six have been studying the Romans as part of their History topic. Today, the children found out about the Roman legacy: all of the brilliant things that the Romans introduced to Britain. It was interesting to find out that the Romans brought across nettles, rabbits, cats and coins as well as different medicines, straight roads and heated baths. One of the most important things the Romans left behind in our region was Hadrian’s Wall which took six years to build!
