Human and Physical

Year One have been learning about the world around us and the seaside  in Geography.  In particular they have been introduced to human and physical features in the environment.  They have learnt that physical features such as cliffs, rivers and mountains are natural and created by natural processes whereas human features such as roads, buildings and piers are man made.

The children have become experts at sorting human and physical features and drew and labelled examples of each in their geography books.  Following on from this we sorted examples of human and physical features at the seaside.
