Reading Stars!

Welcome back for the Summer Term! This is a lovely time of year to be able to read – often we can get outside and snuggle down in a comfy place or on a blanket and read in the sun. It was brilliant to see how many children used the on-line reading programmes during the Easter holidays. By doing just 15 minutes a day of reading, children will significantly increase their fluency and understanding of the books that they have read.

Reading Plus: Year 6B with an average comprehension score of 82%

Accelerated Reader: Year 5A with an average comprehension score of 81.6%.
