Doctors and Vets

The children in  Nursery have loved learning about the importance of looking after people and animals, especially when they are unwell. Over the past few weeks, we have had a class VETS and doctors to support their interests and understanding.

We read the story Little Red Riding Hood, and discussed why Grandma could be ill in the story and what we would do if someone was ill. The children came up with lovely ideas: baking cakes, giving medicines, cuddles, and giving them flowers.

Article 28: Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the full.

Article 24: Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must provide good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment so that children can stay healthy.
