Amazing Avatars

In Computing, Year Two have been learning how to stay safe online. This week, the children learned why using an avatar can help protect their identity online. They decided, even though an avatar is not a photograph, a drawing of a person can look very similar. Therefore, the children chose to use animals, popular characters and objects when designing their own avatar.

Once all of the children had created their avatar, they had to try and work out whose avatar belonged to who. As you can imagine, this was quite a tricky task. Many of the avatars couldn’t be identified meaning their real identities were safe.
