Beastly Book Launch

In English, Year Two are reading Beauty and the Beast. To launch our new book, the children made terrifying beast masks. After listening to the story, they had to decide whether they liked or disliked the beast. The children used some fantastic adjectives to explain their opinions of the character. Some thought he was kind and generous, whereas others thought he was mean and nasty.

Later in the week, the children again used their fantastic vocabulary to write sentences describing the beast. They worked so hard to think of amazing adjectives. Have a look at their brilliant writing below!
