Finally it stopped raining and we were straight out, music playing, for our 8 laps of the field for our very first Race for Life. We discussed some dedications at the start and what the Race for Life was about and after a warm up, we set off……
The children wrote some really nice dedications to loved ones, those who are poorly or finding things tricky right now and it was really motivating listening to their reasons. Teachers joined in too and the children supported each other to ensure everyone made it! Medals were worn all day with pride!
