The Firework-Maker’s Daughter

This week in English, Year 3 have really enjoyed  starting our new book, The Firework-Maker’s Daughter. The children have predicted what they think will happen next and many believe that Lila (the main character) will have to meet the fire-fiend!

As part of our work on the story, the children have become firework-makers themselves and designed their own fireworks. They have then described them using a range of ambitious adjectives, verbs and adverbs.
