Electrical Circuits – Conductor or Insulator?

Never one to miss out on this lesson, back from isolation, Year 4A jumped straight into the challenge of creating an electrical circuit using a cell, bulb and wires.  They were even given the buzzers to try too.  Not only that – the children were so good we also added a switch and created buzzing, light up switched circuits.  It was genuinely wonderful to see the excitement when the light bulb finally came on!  Well done to their persistence and patience!

After creating our circuits, we set out testing different materials from paper, pencils, plastic rulers and copper coins to see if they were conductors or insulators.
