Keeping Fit!

In Year 4, this week, the children have enjoyed some very challenging and exhausting fitness sessions during PE.  As well as sports and games, every week we have a fitness element that combines cardio, endurance and strength.

We have enjoyed some tabata (high intensity interval activity), circuits, shuttle runs, long distance running on the field and worked together on some great paired activities in the 10-1 fitness challenge.  We had a lot of aching legs today as a result of our PE session and Miss Rowe’s animal walks on the field the day before!
