Magnet madness!

During science in year 3, the boys and girls have been investigating magnets. The children began with a scrapyard challenge where they used magnets to separate materials into magnetic and non- magnetic. Next, they created an illusion of a floating paperclip using the strength of magnetic fields. Then, the boys and girls investigated the strength of different types of magnets and made predictions, recording their results in a graph. Once the boys and girls were confident using magnets, they had the opportunity to design and create their own magnet games. What a fun filled, scientific week!
