Onwards and Upwards (literally!) – Y6 Residential

The day’s session continued to challenge and focus the Year 6 children who participated with relish but also a little trepidation.

The activities are very much designed to push children out of their comfort zone and this was clear with more tasks based on height such as Jacob’s Ladder and the Zip-wire.  Children met other challenges also through the obstacle course with various relays being set between teams.

It has been made very clear that the pupils are to see the activities as being designed for their own personal goal-setting and this has meant that all have gained a sense of achievement in different ways.
