As the weather has been so beautiful , and lots of us are getting ready for our Summer holidays, we have been looking at appropriate clothing to wear in sunny weather.
Miss Nelson was getting ready for her Summer holiday and asked if we could help to pack a suitcase for her daughter. We first made a list of the items we would need to take with us and talked about why they were important or what they would be used for. We then spent time, in small groups, looking through Miss Nelson’s bag to see if she had all of the items on our list. we said we needed; suncream, sun hats, swimming costume, armbands/floats, shorts and sandals. We decided there were some items we didn’t need such as winter hats, fluffy boots or a thick coat. Luckily we managed to get the suitcase packed before he aeroplane was due to leave!
