Eggs Everywhere

This week we continued learning about the celebration of Easter.

As part of our Easter learning, we found out the meaning behind the chocolate Easter egg. We learnt that it symbolises the tomb that Jesus was buried in. To celebrate Easter weekend, we all hunted the Nursery garden looking for coloured plastic eggs. But there were some rules that we MUST follow;

– We could only find 1 egg and when we did we had to sit on the hill cheering on our friends.

– We could only travel around the garden by hopping or jumping like a bunny rabbit.

Once all of the eggs had been found, we cracked them open, and found inside them were chocolate creme eggs! We had had such an egg-citing day filled with Easter celebrations.

Article 31 – We all have the right to take part in cultural and creative activities.
