This week some of our year 3 and 4 children took part in the Gateshead SSP Quadkids competition which was held at Grace College.
Quadkids is an athletics competition which you have 5 boys and 5 girls on a team and they have to take part in four events – the 50m sprint, 400m race, vortex howler throw and a standing long jump.
There were 21 teams that took part all from schools in Gateshead all our children did a brilliant job, winning the whole competition by nearly 100 points clear of second place!
The team have now qualified for the county finals which they will represent Gateshead.
We are very proud of everyone who took part – well done everyone!
