Year 4 have been busy combining creativity with science during STEM week as they designed and drew their own futuristic boats. The children explored what makes a boat float, discussing ideas such as buoyancy and balance, and thought carefully about how boats are made waterproof.
They shared fantastic ideas about materials, shapes, and special features that would keep their boats strong and dry on the water. The final designs were imaginative, colourful, and full of clever details, showing just how well the children can explain their thinking while having fun learning. We have some budding artists in Year 4. A brilliant blend of art, science, and teamwork!
