Last Week our two year 5 and 6 cricket teams took part in the Gateshead SSP Cricket Tournament which was held at Felling Cricket Club. Both teams played really well as a team especially when they were fielding communication between players was really good to hear.
Every child had a go at batting and bowling and they gave their all every time.
Both teams played group games against other Gateshead Schools in the morning and then the knockout games were in the afternoon.
One of our teams finished second and qualified for the Gateshead Finals which will take place after half term.
