Oral hygiene – Looking after our teeth

This week, we have been learning all about how to look after our teeth. We read ‘Maisy, Charley and the Wobbly Tooth’ and the children learned that they will all lose their milk teeth and grow adult teeth. We also read ‘Alan’s Big Scary Teeth’ to learn what could happen if we don’t take care of our teeth! During group time, the children played a game, deciding which foods are good for our teeth and which are bad. In playing time, the children got to brush the big teeth in the dentist’s, colour or paint a tooth or make play dough teeth to fit on a card.
