Marvellous Me!

In PSHE this half term we have been looking at self-esteem, persistence and resilience.  We have learned about what self-esteem means, why we need it and how it can be affected by things like bullying, social media, our peers and things we see on the TV.  We looked at things we have done in life that have needed persistence and how this can be good (such as learning new skills) but also detrimental (such as peer pressure to do things we shouldn’t).

The children have been so honest and supportive, then worked in pairs to write poems called Marvellous Me! all about the skills they have learned and developed – recognising that everyone in our class has their own set of skills and strengths that make them marvellous!

Article 6 – We have the right to develop in the best possible way.
