Well-being Week in Nursery

It has been fantastic seeing the children at school and home enjoying the well-being week activities, it all looks like you have had a lot of fun. We were lucky enough to get snow in well-being week, which has meant that the children have spent most of their time outside sledging, making snowmen, and having snowball fights – a great way to keep fit as well as having fun!

In well-being week the children enjoyed reading the story of Stick Man and Five Minutes Peace. We have talked about who we love and drew pictures of our family and pets!

A big focus this week was ‘happiness’, discussing ‘what makes us happy’. It has been great to see all of the children sending in pictures of things that make them happy, which has been lots of games, baking, tidying and playing outside.

On Tuesday this week, it was also Safer Internet Day.  We watched the story on Youtube of ‘Smartie the Penguin EYFS’ and the internet video on Espresso. We discussed what to do when on our tablets and how to stay safe.

With Valentines Day and Pancake Day being in the half term, we decided to celebrate them to end off the week. We made our own Valentines Day cards for someone we love and heart biscuits. We have all enjoyed eating the delicious healthy pancakes too.

We have had a fun-packed week! Take a look at the photos of some of our home and school learning.
