This half term, some of the children in Year 3 have embarked on their French journey. The focus has been on French greetings where the children have learned to introduce themselves, including asking and answering simple questions. The children worked well together and took part in lots of French discussions with great enthusiasm. They have enjoyed using their new French knowledge to complete normal daily tasks such as answering the register with ‘Bonjour’ and are looking forward to learning new words and phrases that can be used throughout school. The children are very keen to show off their new linguistic skills and have been encouraged to share their new vocabulary with people at home.
