Year 1 Home Learning – Week 11

Well, we have completed the first week of the final half term of this academic year.  Only 6 more weeks to go until the summer holidays.  All of the teachers continue to be amazed and proud of all of the home learning activities taking place.  We look forward to all of your weekly emails.  Thank you for all of your messages of support.  This week, yet again, we have seen a vast array of activities from fishing to camping, painting garden gnomes and keeping fit.  It is good to see that all of you have taken advantage of the glorious sunshine and have spent more time outside, some in paddling pools in the back garden and others spending time safely in the countryside or on the beach.  One member of Year One has truly been working hard and received a Blue Peter badge in the post this week.  Well done,  Check out the photos below to see who that is!

The teachers have also been busy over the last couple of weeks.  Miss Norman has been completing a new jigsaw.  Can you use the clues to guess who this jigsaw is of?  They are a Disney character.  They perform in a circus.  They have magical ears.  Well done if you know who it is.  Mrs Lewis has become more green fingered with a visit to her local garden centre.  Her garden is now blooming with colour.  Mrs Hopkins has been celebrating her son’s birthday with a game of cricket and takeaway pizza. Yum!  She is now up to the eighth week of couch to 5K with her daughter.  Nearly at the finishing line!

Please check out the website on Monday morning.  We will be posting new weekly Maths and English activities for you to carry out your learning at home.

We miss you all.  Remember to stay safe and keep on smiling.
