World Book Day 2019

Children and staff at Harlow Green enjoyed World Book Day celebrations on Thursday 7th March. the day was part of the school’s PSHE week and as a school we themed the day around ‘viewpoints’.  All year groups used the book ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ as a stimulus for their exploration of books and stories and for discussion about the different viewpoints of  each of the crayons. The children enjoyed art, DT, English and maths lessons all from the same starting point.

It was also fantastic to see the effort the children, and staff, had gone to in dressing up for the occasion. Well done to all!
