Year 2 Home Learning – Week 6

Can you believe it’s May already? We’ve loved seeing all your exciting and imaginative work (and smiling faces!) over the last six weeks and this week has continued to impress us! Thank you to those sending in their pictures, please continue to do so over the next week to [email protected].

Also a huge well done to those who completed the Writing Challenge this week. It is lovely to see how hard you have worked on your postcard and how impressive your writing skills are. Look out for our post on Monday containing next week’s challenge.

We’ve also had a budding athlete run a half marathon over 7 days to raise money for charity! Well done Emma!

Miss Bull, Mrs Chapman and Mrs Hamilton have enjoyed getting in touch and having a bit of a catch up with you. If we haven’t rang yet, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten you! We’ll get in contact soon.

This week, Miss Bull tried out Mrs Forbes’ famous sausage roll recipe with great success (although not anywhere near Mrs Forbes’ standard!). Mrs Chapman has decided to increase her morning walk into a morning run, enjoying the fresh air before redecorating her kitchen! Mrs Hamilton’s dog Bailey has been enjoying all the extra company and has been demanding lots of cuddles, making film nights a must in the Hamilton household!

Remember to keep an eye out for our writing challenge on Monday!
