Magnificent Movement

This half term Nursery have been learning all about different ways of moving and finding ‘safe spaces’.

Today in PE, we have been working hard to move around the hall in a variety of different ways. We re-capped moving from one line to another pretending to be aeroplanes, giants, crabs and giraffes. We then played a game focusing on moving in different directions. We moved forwards, backwards, left and right. We had to listen carefully to a set of instructions of which direction to move in and by how many steps. We continued to work on our key game, from the last few weeks, of traffic lights. We needed to move around the room without bumping into anyone and listen carefully to which colour was being shouted. We had green as running, amber as walking and red meant stop.

We have had loads of fun moving in different ways and are looking forward to our final week next!
