Place Value

In maths, Year Six have been working on a unit of work based on place value.

During the unit of work, the children have developed a clear understanding of what each digit in a number represents within ones, tens hundreds, thousands up to ten million. They are also able to read and write numbers up to ten million.  Following this, the learning focused on rounding numbers to 10, 100, 1,00, 10,00 100,000 and 1,000,000. This was completed well with great efforts shown.
