Our Harlow Bots First LEGO League team recently took part in an exciting and inspiring competition — and what a fantastic day it was!
The team began by delivering their Innovation Project presentation to a panel of judges. They spoke clearly and confidently, showing excellent teamwork and composure. When answering questions, they impressed the judges with their thoughtful responses and the way they explained their ideas with confidence and professionalism.
Following this, the team competed in three rounds of the Robot Game. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off, with performances that exceeded all expectations. The team achieved consistently high scores in every round, demonstrating their growing skills in coding, design and problem-solving.
The excitement didn’t stop there! The Harlow Bots progressed to the knockout stages, where they continued to perform brilliantly, ultimately finishing in an incredible 2nd place out of 17 schools.
To top off an already amazing day, the team were also awarded the Rising Star Award, recognising their enthusiasm, teamwork and potential for the future.
We are incredibly proud of all the children involved. They represented our school with confidence, determination and teamwork throughout the day — a truly fantastic achievement for everyone involved!
