Reading Buddies

This week, Year 4 students had the delightful opportunity to meet with Reception in the hall to share stories together. The Reception children expressed their pleasure in having their favourite books read to them by their Year 4 friends. This initiative not only fostered a sense of community but also provided Year 4 pupils with the invaluable chance to practice reading aloud to an audience. Such interactions are scheduled to occur every term, reinforcing the importance of peer support and collaborative learning within our school community.
