Going to the theatre is an incredibly rewarding and exciting experience for children. From the grand building, to the characters on the stage and the songs that are sung, it is something that provides a magical opportunity for children (and adults) of all ages.
At Harlow Green, we try to ensure the children have the opportunity to visit the theatre at least once during their school life. However, there are numerous other shows that we simply cannot take them too – even though we’d love to. I have attached the details of four shows that might be of interest to families in the next few months.
Newcastle Theatre Royal
1.) The Enormous Crocodile. : Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th May.
2.) Peppa Pig’s Big Family Show : Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June.
Sunderland Empire
1.) Matilda : Wednesday 11th February to Saturday 28th February.
2.) Blueys Big Play : Wednesday 25th March to Sunday 29th March.
3.) Horrible Histories : Friday 17th and Saturday 18th April.
