In Computing this term, we have learned all about the different digital devices in our lives, and how networks link them all together.
We have learned about network switches that help direct and organise material, how information travels down the various wires and cables around school and how all the digital things we have in school work together, from iPads to printers and the Wifi and cabling.
This week we went on a school tour to create a network map of all the different things that need to communicate with each other. We got the chance to look in the server room and see where all of the different wires join up into one big network switch.
Article 17: We have the right to honest and useful information.
