What a wonderful day we had for our Reception Sports Day! The weather was absolutely perfect – warm and sunny, setting the stage for an exciting morning filled with fun, laughter, and fantastic effort from all our young athletes.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to cheer, encourage, and support the children. Your presence made the day even more special and helped create such a positive and energetic atmosphere.
The children took part in a variety of lively and entertaining races. They balanced bean bags carefully on their heads, focused hard during the egg and spoon race, and bounced their way to the finish line in the sack race. The dressing up race brought lots of smiles and excitement as children raced to put on different items before dashing off again. The bouncy hopper race was full of energy, and the classic running race rounded off the morning with plenty of cheers from the crowd.
All of the children were such fantastic competitors. They showed amazing determination, perseverance, and teamwork as they tackled each race with big smiles and endless enthusiasm. It was a joy to watch their confidence and sportsmanship shine through. We are so proud of every single one of them for trying their best and having such a great time. What a brilliant way to celebrate a year of learning and developing new skills.
