Den Building

This week in Forest School, Nursery have been learning about the purpose of dens and how to construct them.

Den’s are made to create a shelter from bad weather or to home something. We made some tepees from Willow branches and then covered them in different materials to create a den from the sunshine. We decided that the dens were too big for our teddy’s so used some loose play blocks to make them smaller dens. We came up with some very inventive structures to shelter our teddy’s.
