Staff Changes

We are at that time again when there are staffing changes with some moving on and others starting their time with us.

Leaving staff

After 5 years of supporting many children across the school, Mrs Morris will be leaving at the end of term.  Mrs Morris, who is currently working in Year 3, has taught in both KS1 and KS2 during her time here and so many families will have experienced the quality support and input she has provided.

We will also be losing Miss Hawley who has been teaching in Reception over the last two years.  It is clear that parents/carers have greatly appreciated Mrs Hawley’s positive attitude and passion to support children at the start of their educational journey.

Miss Callaghan, who was teaching in Year 6 this year, will be leaving at the end of this week.  After working within the team at the beginning of the year, to support towards SATs, this role changed to support Home Learning which has been invaluable over this difficult period.

On behalf of the school, we would like to thank all three members of staff for their dedication over the time they have worked as part of the Harlow Green Community School.

New Staff

There will be five new members of staff who will, officially, start in September.

Miss Hamilton – Nursery Teacher

Miss Nelson – Reception Teacher

Miss Rutherford – Year 1 Teacher

Miss Rogers – Apprentice TA (Nursery)

Miss Chaytor – Apprentice TA (Year 3)

All are looking forward to working as part of our school and supporting children to settle in and start enjoying school, again.

All the best Mrs Morris. It was lovely working with you, albeit for a short time. Also, good luck to all the new Teachers and Teaching Assistants in your new roles.
