This half-term, Year 5 have had the opportunity to develop new skills and take part in PSHE and French lessons.
In 5B, the children have been learning French. The children have been learning ‘La Date’. They have practised how to say the day of the week and month in French, building their confidence with speaking and pronunciation. The children have also learnt how to ask and answer questions about birthdays, including how to announce their own birthday in French.
In PSHE, 5A have been exploring important topics to support their personal development. The children have learnt about culture and how people’s lives and traditions can be different, as well as the importance of showing respect and understanding. They have also discussed resilience, thinking about how to cope with challenges and keep a positive mindset.
