This week in Nursery we have been learning about the people who help us in our local community.
We listened to the story called ‘When we grow us’ which talked us thorough lots of different jobs that we might be able to do when we are bigger. We learnt lots of interesting things about the different clothing and equipment that different people need to complete their day to day jobs. We spent time sorting the different uniforms and resources to distinguish what each person who helps us would need. We learnt about fire fighters, nurses and doctors, police, paramedics, dentists, chefs and builders. We also spent time in the painting area painting different emergency vehicles such as police cars, fire engines, and ambulances.
