Newcastle University Visit

Today, Year 6 had a visit from a university project co-ordinator to talk about careers and opportunities.

It may seem like a long way off, but it is never too early to begin to think about goals and aspirations for the future. During a session today, the Year 6 children were able to reflect upon their interests and the careers and jobs these could lead to. They were informed about the five local universities and worked on a booklet that began to consider their options. We will continue to look at this with the children over the coming months.
