As part of Gateshead Council’s promotion of the new Calderwood Terrace park, Harlow Green Rights Respect Officers were invited to visit for a photo shoot.
On a beautiful summer’s day, our children took the short walk ready to have some fun! It was brilliant to have the opportunity to test out the apparatus which included swings, a seesaw, slides, and a balance trail.
The children remarked on how different the park was now that it had been redeveloped which, from the smiles on their faces, was definitely a positive change.
The photographs taken are going to be used in Gateshead materials to share the news of the park which will hopefully encourage families to take their children along to enjoy what all the the park has to offer.
