Yesterday, the Harlow Green community came together to enjoy our annual school fair. Once again, the weather was glorious; the sun shone and the rain stayed away. Parents and children enjoyed having a go at traditional games such as name the teddy, tombola, guess the number of sweets in the jar, hook and duck and the coconut shy. There were lots of lovely foods to try, including, waffles, candy floss, ice cream, sweets and pizzas from our very own pizza oven. The football speed gun challenge and archery were provided fun for those with a competitive edge. ‘Sponge the teacher’ was extremely popular with Mr Malik, Mr Allen and Mr McMann getting VERY wet at different points during the afternoon. This year, we there was a giant inflatable on the field which the children enjoyed running and climbing across. Our choir and dance group provided the entertainment along with our DJ. St John Ambulance brought along a treatment centre and welfare unit and the boys and girls learnt some first aid skills . A big thank you to everyone who supported the event.
