The Barnardo’s Big Toddle has become some what of a tradition for our Harlow Green Community. We have been taking part for 5 years now, and we always manage to raise a lots of money for a turtle-y awesome cause. The Big Toddle is a short, 1 mile, sponsored walk for under 5’s to raise money for vulnerable children and young people through the charity Barnardo’s.
We toddled together on a totally paw-some adventure around our Harlow Green School grounds, watching out for safari animals along the way! We took part in some great parachute games on the field such as sharks, fruit salad, parachute vollyball and and popcorn. We had a celebration ceremony for all the children who took part, they each received a medal and certificate for all of their hard work toddling.
All of the Nursery Team would like to say one big THANK YOU to everyone who took part and made the event possible for all of the children. We are also incredibly grateful for all of the donations. This will go towards making a huge difference to the many children and young people who are supported by Barnardo’s.
