Term Dates

As a Gateshead Local Authority school, our term dates are aligned to the council schedule for all maintained schools.

Within an academic year, children are expected to attend school for 190 days.  The school calendar is organised to ensure that there are 190 days for children, whilst setting out training days and twilight sessions for staff which is dependent upon the number of additional days available.

Our school calendar includes term start and end dates, alongside half term holidays and training days when pupils are not expected to attend.  It is important for families to plan childcare and family arrangements around the published dates.
