Year 5 Book Launch!
This week, the children in Year 5 were introduced to our exciting new book, Beowulf! However, before revealing the title, the children became detectives and explored a series of mysterious clues hidden around the classroom.
Working together, the children examined each clue using their inference skills to work out what they thought our new book might be about. They made predictions, shared their ideas and looked closely at the evidence to support their thinking.
The children have begun reading the exciting Anglo-Saxon tale and are excited to see what will happen next!
