Super Sound!

This week, Year Four began their unit on Sound in Science lessons. The children discussed different things they could hear around them and the importance of hearing as one of their five senses. They then investigated how different instruments, such as glockenspiels, maracas, drums, tambourines, guitars and triangles, produce sound. Once they had done this, their next challenge was to investigate how to change the pitch. The children had lots of fun producing high and low sounds. What a noisy start to the term!
