Long Division!

Year 6 have been working hard to learn a new method of long division! At first, it felt quite challenging, and there were lots of steps to remember. However, the children showed fantastic perseverance and a positive attitude, tackling each problem one step at a time. They supported one another, shared their ideas and worked together to help everyone understand the new method.

With determination and teamwork, the children began to grow in confidence and successfully work through the calculations independently. We are really proud of their resilience and willingness to keep trying, even when things felt tricky! Now that they have made a great start, the next step is to keep practising so that they can become more confident, accurate and fluent with their long division. Well done, Year 6!
