Investigating Reflection

In Science, Year 3 have spent the last two weeks learning about light and dark. Today, the children investigated reflection by using torches to test a variety of materials. They explored which materials were reflective and discussed why reflective materials are important in everyday life. 

The children made excellent predictions and confidently explained their ideas to the class. This was the first experiment they have carried out in Year 3, and we have been extremely impressed with their discussions, predictions and careful recording of results.

Well done, Year 3! We are very proud of your enthusiasm and scientific thinking.
