Dinosaur Hunt

This week we have introduced everyone to our new topic – How to Find a Dinosaur.  To launch our new English text, Tyrannosaurus Drip, we all went on a dinosaur hunt.  First, we all learnt the song:

We’re going on a dinosaur hunt,

We’re going to catch a big one,

What a beautiful day,

We’re not scared!

Next, we tiptoed into our forest area with our binoculars to search for dinosaurs.  We looked high and we looked low.  Some dinosaurs were hiding amongst the trees and some were extremely well camouflaged.  We found all kinds of dinosaurs including a T-Rex, a stegosaurus and a duckbill dinosaur.  By the end of the hunt, we were exhausted, and just like the book we said “We’re never going on a dinosaur hunt again!”
