Reception in our Forest School.

Learning how to behave safely around the fire pit is really important for our young children, getting them ready for their Forest School sessions. We practiced how to enter and exit the fire area and had a chat about what kind of things they might like to cook.

Then it was down to meet the hens, the children were surprised how soft the feathers are. We sang some hentastic songs whilst our feathered friends had their breakfast.

In our nature garden, we had a look for frogs, despite the warm weather we think that they were hiding. The children enjoyed smelling the herbs, spotting spring flowers and looking out for new growth on the plants.

What a great experience. The children are so lucky to have such fantastic facilities and grounds to explore. Isabella loved going to see the chickens.
