Fun at the Farm

On Friday, our pupils from Harlow Green Primary had a fantastic day at Hall Hill Farm. The children enjoyed learning about how animals are cared for and what life on a working farm is really like. Everyone took part with great enthusiasm and showed excellent teamwork throughout the visit.

During the trip, the children had the opportunity to feed animals and learn simple, age-appropriate facts from the farm team. Children were encouraged to follow instructions safely and respectfully, helping them understand responsible animal care and the importance of gentle handling.

The highlight for many was seeing how different parts of the farm work together, including riding a tractor, bottle feeding the lambs, and feeding and caring for a variety of other animals. The children asked thoughtful questions, made meaningful observations, and brought home new knowledge to share with their families. We are proud of their positive behaviour and curiosity during the day.
