Wheelie Wednesday finally launched this week after snow and ice stopped play for a while – and what a wonderful sight it was!
The children in years 1,2,3 and 4 got the chance this week to take part and they loved it! They could not wait to get out on their boots and scooters and enjoy developing and perfecting their wheeled skills whilst exercising with and supporting their classmates. It was a definite thumbs up from all of them. We had all sorts of helmets from unicorns to punk rockers and a whole range of scooters and funky boots.
We can’t wait for the next one to roll in to town. Thank you to parents and carers for their patience in helping us get all the scooters parked and making sure the children had helmets and were prepared. Please see your Ping or speak to your class teacher if you need to check dates for your child’s class as it alternates each week.
Article 31: We have the right to rest, relax and play.
